Suture Express Executives Scramble to Fix Lies

Suture Express seems to be getting a big increase in social media buzz, but for all the wrong reasons. Check out just a couple of the story excerpts telling how Suture Express lied and then tried to cover it up with money. Tsk tsk tsk, Suture Express. That is not how social media works.

Excerpt from "Suture Express CFO Brian Forsythe Screws Wrong SEO"

Brian Forsythe of Suture Express, a leading Johnson & Johnson Ethicon surgical suture supplier that promotes "cheap surgical suture supplies", made a decision to rejuvenate the failing sutureexpress.com website. Naturally, he contacted a search engine optimization provider to suture the damage. In fitting with Suture Express' core value of "cheap surgical supplies" he contacted a friend with whom he could make a great deal. What he did not realize is how much "cheap" can haunt a company, and especially as it involves selling surgical sutures and outright lying to the SEO provider and not paying him. Note: Stealing information from a search engine optimizer and website developer is not a good way to do more business. What amazes me is that some companies still fail to grasp the reach of the Internet or the power of truth against fraud.

Excerpt from "Suture Express Lies, Then Bids to Hide Truth"

Suture Express, a specialty surgical supplier offering wound closure products provides an example of living in a self-made storm. In the book, “Living in the Storm”, I wrote about the importance of creating joy and inspiration for yourself, and how it is often influenced by creating joy and inspiration for others. I addressed issues of honesty, integrity, and being apologetic when you have done wrong. I have since found a good example of how lying and trying to cover up mistakes causes more difficulty than benefit. My example is one which was set by Suture Express, and I hope that it is used as a good lesson.

Suture Express Apologetic Under Distress
Suture Express CFO, Brian Forsythe learned a difficult and avoidable lesson of breaking trust and giving a self-serving and money-induced apology instead of a timely and meaningful one. Apology for doing wrong is extremely important, but when it is for the wrong reason and postponed until necessitated by greed, it can cause a backlash … a very ugly backlash.

Excerpt from "Suture Express Learns Social Media The Hard Way"

It would be convenient to say that Suture Express learned social media simply with an article that came out a year after they lied to their SEO. The article was titled "Suture Express CFO Brian Forsythe Screws Wrong SEO". That was a pretty tough turn for the already woefully naive attempts by Suture Express to pursue the online market with their surgical supplies. It includes comments from a current employee and former contractors of Suture Express that show very low regard for the company. It started looking a lot worse after they waited well over a year from their misdealing and months after the blog post which lambasted them for their lies and deceit before CFO Brian Forsythe came to urgently apologize for the mistakes Suture Express executives including CEO Ed Kuklenski had made.

Suture Express Lies Then Bids to Hide Truth
It seems almost too crazy to be real that a company seeking to enter the online marketplace would do so with such lack of foresight, and with such recklessness to try and scam their SEO. It is true, and they even offered to pay for the removal of the blog post and presented a contract favoring Suture Express and their CEO Ed Kuklenski. This really does not look like a formula that will set well with social media. After all, social media is the public, and not just a bunch of no-name, no-count losers with nothing better to do with their time than sit at a computer and play games. Suture Express' CFO Brian Forsythe, CEO Ed Kuklenski, and their new consulting firm is learning this all the hard way, but make no mistake ... they are learning it.
